#c25k I ran for 3.08 Miles

Not exactly speedy, but it's about distance, as long as I'm not walking I'm running.
For me its the distance that's important and at 3.08 miles (yes the .08 is important) I'm really happy. Looking back over my blogs it's hard to believe that I struggled to run for 2 minutes in one go, now 4ish months later I am running for 40 minutes non stop and achieving a distance of 3 MILES.

I did my first run of C25k on 26/9/2011 and with approx 6 weeks break in training for my op I'm well chuffed with the results. I do think however that Couch to 5K IN 9 WEEKS is quite a big ask for an overweight complete non runner like myself, but nevertheless its still a great plan and DID get me off the couch to becoming a runner.
In one of my early posts I did say that I wanted to 'be a runner', I'm not quite sure if I can call myself one yet, but I am enjoying the challenge of trying to beat my distance each time I run and 3 miles, well, I can't wait to get to 4.

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." - John Bingham
